Christmas Inspiration for Your Home

Christmas is a very special time which we usually spend with family or friends, eating and enjoying our time together before the year ends and a new one begins. It’s a time that most of us associate with feelings of warmth and love, but how can you translate those into your home? We would like to show you 5 tips to help you transform your home for Christmas.
TIP #1
We know that it is very hard to find decorations that perfectly match your home, but this conflict can be easily resolved. When we think of Christmas, the colours that usually come to mind are red, green, gold and white, and as long as you keep to this colour scheme, it will help you make your interiors feel more comfortable and welcoming to everyone. In this year's trends we can also see grey and pink, which can be a fresh alternative for the traditional colours of Christmas. If you're bored of solid colours, you can use typical Christmas-style motifs, like mistletoe, raindeers or gnomes!

TIP #2
Curtains are always hard to pick, but the best material to use is one that not only looks elegant but feels elegant too. My personal favourite would be a white velvet , because it makes the interior of your home look so luxurious but snug at the same time. You can use fairy lights to hang on the rail to make your window more moody and festive.
You can also use gold, which always looks elegant and luxurious. Can you imagine how amazingly the gold would reflect the light of candles?

TIP #3
The living room is usually the biggest space in your house. You can add some warm and fluffy blankets for you and your guests to use after dinner, and a few extra decorative pillows so that your couch can be super comfy and ready for an evening drink with your friends and family. From the Christmasy colour scheme, I'm sure you'll find the colour which will make your interior look and feel rich.
Small decorative items like gnomes, candles, letters or chimney socks are necessary to build happines and joyfullnes inside your home.

TIP #4:
We often forget about chairs, even if we have lots of them in the dining and living areas, they are one of the most impostant aspects, considering we have to make space for friends and family.  The easiest and quickest way of decorating them, is using decorative fabric, like shiny green velvet to make chair covers! You can also add decorative red velvet ribbon to make your guests speechless!
Another way of decorating your dining room is tablecloths made from waterproof fabrics with festive motifs. They are stain resistant and easy to clean so you get one more advantage - they look beautiful and you can easily keep your table clean!

TIP #5
The Christmas Tree is always the centre of attention. This winter, the recent trends suggest some of these styles: eco - with wooden, paper or dry fruits decorations; glamour - rich, sparkling, with gold and silver ornaments; retro - with all the decorations you can remember from your childchood; and rainbow - a new trend used to show equality! But the most important thing is, you have to make sure that your Christmas Tree has some personality - you don't have to make it look perfect, make it yours!
Remember this time is about love and happiness, so enjoy yourself and don’t think too much about making everything perfect. It’s okay if it's not, just have fun and celebrate with your family and friends!
